Queen Snake is part of the “We Live Together” Series I made this year. I was given an artist grant to make a series of rugs. My project was to make four rugs of animals that I’ve encountered in significant ways on the land where my family’s house is located. The series is being shown at the Bovina Library, in a small town near my house. Queen Snake measures 15” high by 18” wide, made with hand dyed and as-is wools.
