Ermine is part of the “We Live Together” Series I made this year. I was given an artist grant to make a series of rugs. My project was to make four rugs of animals that I’ve encountered in significant ways on the land where my family’s house is located. The series was shown at the Bovina Library, in a small town near my house. Ermine measures 12” high by 24” wide, made with hand dyed and as-is wools.

There are four rugs in the suite, all connected through subject matter, color scheme and the outdoor location. The entire suite of four can be purchased as a group for $2000.
