As I worked on it, Angel with a Pink Dress had the colors of a fresco and it was fun to keep it in that direction. Certainly soft, gentle colors are right for an angel. The angel is holding a torch and standing next to a small tree topped with a bird. Celestial orbs and rays hang in the sky. This rug is made with soft sky blues and pinks , greens and tans that I’ve dyed this summer. It measures 14” high by 9” wide, and has an old fashioned cotton binding on the back that has the softest pink background with black geometric shapes. It comes fitted with a sleeve and dowel for display on the wall. It would be beautiful as a special holiday decoration on a bed. It would be a lovely pair with Snowy Santa, just added to my shop.
